Julian M. Carroll, former Kentucky governor, returned to the statehouse to represent the 7th District in 2005.

 

Senator Carroll remains a strong champion of education and advocates expanding Kentucky’s economic base.

 

Senator Carroll is a Frankfort attorney and a lay minister at First Assembly of God Church, Frankfort. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and the University of Kentucky College of Law. He holds honorary doctorates from five universities.

 

He represents Anderson, Franklin, Gallatin, Owen, Woodford counties.
