Sen. Robin Webb (D- Grayson) was humbled beyond measure and a little emotional as she was awarded the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation’s Brad Rowse Award for her work in the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses. The organization started under the umbrella of the CSF a little more than 15 years ago, while Brad Rowse was the 26-year-old DC staffer that got Sen. Webb involved in the organization.
The organization, which started with a few states in a meeting in Texas, now has an official presence in 48 states and works to preserve our cultural heritage of hunting, fishing, trapping, funding conservation and promote the North American Model of Wildlife Management. Sen. Webb was surprised and blessed to share the honor with so many friends that have enriched her life, making wonderful memories, formulating policy, and enjoying freedom in the great outdoors.
