State Senator, District 37
Clark was elected Senator of the 37th District in Jefferson County on Feb. 14, 2006.
One of eight brothers and sisters, Clark, 48, was born and raised in south Louisville. He is active in the community, volunteering his time with the Boy Scouts of America as a merit badge counselor and a district chairman. He also supports community ministries and helps prepare meals at a soup kitchen in his district.
Clark attended St. John Vianney grade school and is a graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School.
He is a University of Louisville employee and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He and his wife, Sheila, have a son and a daughter. They are members of New Heights Baptist Church.
